    It’s incredibly frustrating when the size of food packaging changes. It usually throws off some rhythm of yours you were previously unaware of. Maybe a bag of chips usually lasted your four days, but now only three. There’s no fix either. It’s forced adaptation. Sort of a survival of the unfit, in the case of chips.

    BEARD: I can never finish a full 12 ounce can of soda, so I bought these mini 7 ounce cans instead.

    BEARD: But I always finished them before I was done eating, so I wrote the company and asked for a 9.5 ounce can, instead. And look what they sent me!

    BEARD: Empty? But I have one chip left! Come on!
