Commonly confused terminology often results in humorous situations. Okay, that’s a given. However, commonly confused terminology also often results in spectacularly creative lies, which are usually far funnier.

MEGAN: No, I was alluding to her rapidly developing dementia.

HOBO: Did you just make that up?
MEGAN: If it seems that way, it's just an illusion.
