No Time for Introductions


Many  students complain about having to take introductory classes because they “know it already.”  These are usually the students who make a C or D in class.  Perhaps because they do know it all and are simply bored. More likely they don’t know as much as they think.

CZAR: Our faceless registrar has decided we can increase retention by doing away with introductory classes.
BEARD: Won't this be dangerous for our medical program, at the least?

CZAR: No student wants to waste semesters being "introduced" to something. Now, they'll get that hands on experience right from the start!

SCIENCE: This patient needs his spleen removed.
STUDENT: Will this be open book?
