I long ago gave up on explaining any video game to a non-player. The truth is that most are beyond ridiculous when given a moment or two of thought.
It’s also always enjoyable to note that you’re the bad guy when you think you’re the hero.

This strip went through a few different versions. The original was more referential, but perhaps too much so. While funny to us, it would have ended up being too obscure for the majority of readers. The second version wasn’t quite “nail on the head” enough. This third revision seems to work best.

As a teacher, I often come into contact with wild explanations for common concepts. That’s where the idea for this strip came from. I like the idea that all the gods would sort of hang out together (that’s Ganesha and Poseidon, by the way). The background detail that they’re all seeing Twilight: Eclipse is a nice touch.

This is the type of strip that makes people mad because we’re being too literal with a definition. It isn’t actually mocking Jesus or anything, but people will take it that way. Preemptively, no, we are not making fun of Jesus.
We are, however, making fun of Kevin Sorbo.

Easter is a fun time of year, but like with anything, it’s made better with some help from Mr. Mittens. By the way, obviously one of the two speaking to Jesus is Judas, but the other is Thomas. It’s implied, but maybe not super clear to some.
Jesus seems like a real jovial kind of guy.
