As with many things in life, a fight between two English nerds begins to sound an awful lot like a Pokemon match after a while. I’m not quite sure why that is, but I guess the glorified game of rock, paper, scissors is part of the charm of the Pokemon franchise.

TREY: Professor, this syllabus has way more assignments than my other classes. Since this class is Intro to Literary Theory, I'd like to invoke Queer Theory and tell you this syllabus is gay!

HOBO: Then I'd counter with a deconstruction argument telling you that there are no other syllabi outside of this syllabus.

    AMANDA: What are they doing?
    MEGAN: Playing intellectual Pokemon.
