    It does seem odd that humans progressively get faster. Sure, technology like running shoes is getting better, but certainly at some point there’s got to be a wall humans hit, right? We can’t continuously get better forever, can we?

    BEARD: Are you watching the Olympics?
    KLOWNUS: No, it's all rigged.

    KLOWNUS: For the past hundred years people have been setting new records every four years by increments of a hundredth of a second? So every four years we get better, but just a little bit better?

    KLOWNUS: If you believe that, then you probably also believe we landed on the moon!
    BEARD: Oh good, for a second there I started to think you had a point.
